We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vinyl Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing vinyl flooring in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, cutting, laying, and securing vinyl flooring with precision, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and assess floor areas to determine the amount of vinyl flooring required
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate primers or adhesives
- Cut vinyl flooring to size and shape, ensuring a perfect fit for all edges, corners, and seams
- Lay and secure vinyl flooring, ensuring smooth application and proper alignment
- Install baseboards, trim, and transitions as needed to complete the floor installation
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, including smooth seams, proper adhesion, and level flooring
- Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to all safety standards and guidelines while working on-site
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any post-installation issues or concerns
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working in a Vinyl company
- Proven experience as a vinyl flooring installer
- Strong knowledge of vinyl flooring installation techniques, tools and flooring types
- Valid Class 3 Driving License
- Good communication and customer service skills
