Athena Cloud Limited is seeking a strategic thinker that remains hands on for the position of Vice President of Client Services and Engineering. This role is a member of the Senior Management Team, but is very hands on and the candidate must be an individual capable of being hands on providing guidance to highly skilled engineers, with a deep and proven engineering background, while at the same time being able to deal with highly complex mission critical services for clients, ensuring that we deliver exceptional value and support to our clients while maintaining our high standards of innovation and reliability.

The role of Vice President, Client Services & Engineering (VP-CSE) represents a critical fusion of technical mastery, operational leadership, and client advocacy within the rapidly expanding landscape of sovereign cloud services, cybersecurity, and managed services. This position is designed for a dynamic leader who can seamlessly integrate strategic vision with deep, hands-on technical execution and exceptional client engagement. The VP-CSE will serve as the driving force behind the company's global service excellence and engineering prowess, ensuring that solutions not only meet but consistently exceed the highest standards of security, performance, and client satisfaction.

This role transcends traditional management, demanding a leader who embodies a "full-stack" understanding of the technology environment. The individual must possess a profound comprehension of all aspects involved in delivering service excellence within a complex managed services environment, ranging from the lowest levels of the technology stack to an advanced grasp of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications within sovereign cloud deployments. This deep, hands-on expertise is not merely a preference; it is essential for effective troubleshooting, guiding intricate architectural decisions, and maintaining credibility with both the engineering team and sophisticated clients.For an early-growth company, where resources are often constrained, the ability of a leader to directly contribute to problem-solving and technical direction is paramount. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within client services and engineering, preferably in a technology-focused organization.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, data security, and sovereign solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in managing relationships with clients and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
