IS International Services is seeking a highly skilled Vibration Engineer who will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of rotating machinery used in power generation and oil & gas applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in vibration analysis, predictive maintenance techniques, and an understanding of mechanical systems.

The Vibration Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Conducting vibration analysis and diagnostics on various machinery, including turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators.
  • Interpreting vibration data to identify issues, recommending corrective actions, and optimizing equipment performance.
  • Developing and implementing predictive maintenance programs to enhance machinery reliability.
  • Working collaboratively with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and modifications.
  • Creating detailed reports summarizing findings, analyses, and recommendations for clients.
  • Providing training and support to junior engineers and technicians in vibration analysis and best practices.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in vibration analysis and machinery diagnostics within the power generation or oil & gas industry.

Requirements:

  • Must be familiar with Bentley Nevada Vibration Monitoring Equipment BN7200
  • Proficiency in vibration analysis tools and software, including FFT analysis and modal analysis.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
  • Familiarity with condition monitoring techniques and maintenance strategies.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Certifications:

Certification in vibration analysis (such as ISO 18436 or comparable) is preferred.
