  • To arrange everything to accomplish a voyage such as the appointment of the shipping agent, bunker replenishment, weather routing appointment etc
  • To issue voyage instruction to vessel master in accordance to the governing CP
  • To check all shipping documents such as pre-stowage plan, B/L
  • Handling freight invoice, demurrage/despatch, hire payment and port disbursement accounts and so on
  • Communication with vessel’s masters, owners/charterers or brokers, ports agent
  • Monitoring the vessel’s movement and performance and report to related parties
  • In any dispute against counterparty such as cargo damage or shortage, lay-time, underperformance and so on, to communicate for a settlement based on charter party
  • Clerical work such as filing shipping documents, entering voyage data into business applications

Requirements

  • Preferably in Maritime studies, degree or diploma or some working experience
  • Relevant experience in post fixture claims or has maritime education
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills
  • Team player and able to work independently
  • Diploma or degree but not essential if got relevant working experience
  • Experience in tankers will be advantageous
  • Open to train Maritime education
