The Role: Tech Evaluator

The Tech Evaluator position is a key remote role designed for detail-oriented, communicative individuals who are ready to contribute from day one. You will receive all necessary training and software access upon hire—no prior experience in this specific field is required. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Test apps across different network conditions (WiFi, 4G, 5G) as instructed.
• Download, install, and test assigned mobile applications across specified device types.
• Maintain confidentiality of pre-release app builds and features as required by NDAs.
• Complete assigned test cycles within stated deadlines for each project.
• Follow structured test scenarios and document results clearly in the provided reporting tool.
• Rate app features on usability, design clarity, and overall satisfaction.
• Participate in brief video or written surveys about your testing experience when requested.
• Attempt to replicate reported bugs from other testers to confirm reproducibility.

Requirements

• Ability to follow test instructions precisely and complete tasks within provided deadlines.
• Comfortable with basic tech tasks: installing apps, taking screenshots, filling out forms.
• No software engineering background required — we train you on the testing methodology.
• Strong attention to detail — ability to notice subtle UI issues, slow load times, or broken flows.
• Clear written communication skills to document bug reports and feedback accurately.
• Reliable internet connection for downloading apps and submitting reports.
