Job Summary:
An A&W Team Member provides friendly, fast, and accurate service while preparing quality food and maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet guests warmly and take orders with a positive attitude
- Ensure guests receive correct, high-quality orders promptly
- Handle cash, card, and mobile transactions accurately using a POS system
- Address customer questions or concerns professionally
Food Preparation:
- Cook and assemble food orders following A&W recipes and standards
- Prepare beverages including root beer floats and soft drinks
- Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures
Cleanliness & Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean work environment in kitchen, dining, and restroom areas
- Restock supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed
- Perform opening, mid-shift, or closing duties as assigned
Teamwork:
- Work with fellow team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations
- Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers
- Be willing to assist in other tasks or roles when necessary
Qualifications:
- No previous experience required (on-the-job training provided)
- Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Must be punctual and team-oriented
- Able to stand for long periods and lift 15–25 lbs if needed
