The Tax & Accounting Leader is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Main Responsibilities:
Lead the accounting team and supervise daily operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements at the local, state, and federal levels.
Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Oversee external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), tax regulations, and financial reporting.
