For a Leading Dry Bulk Shipping Company: Superintendent Engineer
Responsibilities
- Technical management of a dry bulk fleet
- Hands-on technical support to vessels and Chief Engineers
- Planning and supervision of repairs, maintenance, and dry dockings
- Monitoring vessel performance, machinery condition, and fuel consumption
- Ensuring compliance with Class, Flag State, ISM, ISPS, and international regulations
- Budget control, spare parts, and procurement management
- Liaison with shipyards, suppliers, and service providers
- Attendance at inspections, audits, and vettings
Requirements
- Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
- More than 5 years of combined sea-going and/or technical experience on dry bulk vessels
- Knowledge of Class rules and international regulations
- Experience in dry docking and repair planning
- Proficiency in MS Office and PMS
- Ability to work independently in a small team
- Additional sea-going experience, prior superintendent exposure, small-fleet experience, and knowledge of EEXI/CII considered an advantage
