Job Title: Senior Consultan– Strategic Sourcing
Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India
Reports To: Head of Strategic Sourcing
Division: Enterprise Property & Strategic Sourcing
Type: 12–18 Months Contract
Shift: Australian (3:30am-12:30pm)
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Demand Management
- Lead complex, end-to-end sourcing initiatives (RFx)
- Define and drive sourcing strategies across diverse categories
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Design and implement supplier governance frameworks
- Manage performance and compliance of critical vendors
Contract Management
- Lead contract drafting, negotiation, and due diligence
- Ensure proactive renewal and risk-aligned strategies
Value Delivery & Cost Optimization
- Achieve measurable cost savings and service improvements
- Deliver departmental KPIs on benefits realization
Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Awareness
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and APRA standards (CPS230, CPS234)
- Manage third-party risk through consistent governance
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with legal, risk, tech, and business teams
- Act as a commercial advisor to business stakeholders Continuous Improvement
- Drive simplification and optimization in sourcing processes
- Share knowledge and mentor junior sourcing professionals

- Internal Strategic Sourcing Team
- Business Unit Leaders
- Legal, IT Security, Architecture, and Risk Teams
- External Suppliers and Vendors
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely and compliant sourcing delivery (cycle time, BU compliance)

Requirements
Experience
- 7–10 years in Strategic Sourcing / Procurement roles
- Strong exposure to supplier management, contracting, and negotiation
- Preferred: Experience in financial services or regulated environments (e.g., Australian banking)
Capabilities
- Deep knowledge of sourcing strategies across varied categories
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Awareness of technology procurement and SaaS sourcing
- Understanding of APRA CPS230 / CPS234 is a plus
- Ability to lead initiatives and work autonomously in a global setting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred)
