About the Role:

● To support the procurement function by managing sourcing, vendor coordination, purchase order processing, and material follow-ups to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services as per company policies and project requirements.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities :

● Assist in the end-to-end procurement process for materials, consumables, and services.

● Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery timelines, and service.

● Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate with vendors, and finalize purchase terms within defined authority limits.

● Prepare and issue purchase orders in ERP/system and ensure timely approvals.

● Track and follow up on deliveries to ensure adherence to required timelines.

● Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Marketing , Finance, Operations, etc.) to ensure smooth supply flow and resolve procurement-related issues.

● Maintain and update vendor database and price master.

● Assist in vendor evaluation and performance review.

● Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation standards.

● Support in cost reduction initiatives, alternate sourcing, and supplier development activities.

● Generate and maintain procurement reports and MIS as required.

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

● Engineering / commerce Graduate with 3-5 years experience in Procurement.

● MBA degree preferred.

● Good verbal & written communications skills.

● Knowledge of end to end Supply Chain Operations and basic Working on ERP/navision.

● Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel or Google sheet is preffered.

● Basic knowledge of legal metrology for product will be advantageous.
