We are seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathology Supervisor to oversee our Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). This role will allow you to leverage your expertise in speech-language pathology while guiding and mentoring aspiring professionals. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $80 to $90, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise SLPAs in implementing therapy plans and services.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of SLPAs, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with educational staff and other professionals for coordinated client care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to team training.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- 3+ years of experience in speech-language pathology, particularly with educational settings.
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring SLPAs is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and excellence in service delivery.
