We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist/Consultant in Pediatric Dentistry to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on providing excellent dental care specifically tailored to the needs of children, ensuring their health and well-being.

As a Specialist/Consultant Pediatric Dentist, you will be engaged in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of dental issues encountered in infants, children, and adolescents. You will play a critical role in educating patients and their families about oral health, establishing healthy habits, and contributing to a positive dental experience.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive dental evaluations for pediatric patients and identify treatment needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that cater to children's unique dental needs
  • Perform restorative and preventive procedures, including fillings, cleanings, and sealants
  • Implement behavior management techniques to create a supportive environment for young patients
  • Educate children and caregivers on proper dental hygiene and nutritional practices
  • Monitor and manage dental development in growing children
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals and healthcare providers for interdisciplinary patient care
  • Remain current with advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuing education and training

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatric Dentistry
  • Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry
  • Active and valid dental license in the state of practice
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric dental care with a comprehensive understanding of child psychology
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with children and their families
  • Empathy and patience to ensure a positive dental experience for young patients
  • Strong attention to detail in diagnosis and treatment
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and adherence to ethical dental practices
