The Solutions Engineer will lead the design, development, and implementation of various new and extended service & solution offerings, ensuring seamless integration into overall enterprise system requirements. This role requires a creative and critical thinker who excels in both technical and business environments, with a focus on driving innovation, technical excellence, and aligning architecture solutions with business goals. The Solutions Engineer will also play a key role in building a robust partner and vendor ecosystem, collaborating with external parties to co-create viable solutions for clients and tender opportunities. This position requires strong leadership in identifying and establishing the best practices and emerging technologies while mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Solution Design
  • Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end service solutions, including infrastructure and application-related components.
  • Create and deliver high-quality solutions tailored to meet clients' business needs and technical challenges.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions & services, by translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Partner Ecosystem Development

 

 

Consultation and Pre-Sales Oversight

  • Work closely with customer success consultants and service delivery teams to understand detailed technical requirements and contribute to solution design.
  • Provide technical guidance during the sales and business development lifecycles, including identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and supporting sales efforts.
  • Prepare solution presentations, proposals, and proof-of-concept materials to articulate how the solutions fulfill client needs.
  • Project Management and Delivery Oversight
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle from solution design to implementation, ensuring that projects meet technical standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Align architecture deliverables (e.g., Statement of Work, designs, and schedules) with contractual terms to ensure clarity and agreement.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Service Delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from solution design to execution and post-implementation support.

 

  • Innovation and Technological Advancement
  • Remain updated on technological advances, industry trends, and market developments, to recommend and lead the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies in the IT ecosystem.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to resolve unique and complex technical challenges with long-term, organization-wide impact.

 

Mentoring and Technical Guidance

  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.
  • Serve as a technical expert and consultant across the organization to ensure high-quality architectural standards and practices are followed.

Qualifications and Skills set:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant advanced technical certifications are highly desirable.

 

Experience

  • At least 4-6 years of experience in Solutions Engineerure, infrastructure, or systems design roles.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex solutions involving multiple technologies across various IT domains, including networking, systems, cloud, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in working with partners, vendors, or external ecosystems to co-create solutions.
  • Strong experience in supporting large-scale projects, particularly in responding to bids or proposals.
