About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of applications through rigorous testing. Skilled in identifying defects, validating fixes, and ensuring software quality through systematic testing.

Requirements

  • Perform unit testing within the BFF layer to validate components and service logic.
  • Conduct API testing (functional and error scenarios) using Postman or command-line. 
  • Design comprehensive test strategies for Backend for Frontend, and integrated services.
  • Create and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
  • Manage defect lifecycle, including bug tracking, prioritization, and ticket operation design in systems like Jira.
  • Provide continuous feedback to development teams to enhance test coverage and product stability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in manual and API testing with a Strong focus on API and Backend Testing.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, request/response validation, and JSON/XML parsing.
  • Experience with Command Line API Execution and Postman. 
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git, Bitbucket) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).(Good to Have)
  • Experience drafting test cases and test reports.
  • Strong understanding of defect reporting workflow and ticket operations design.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written).
  • Willing to work on-site at the office.
  • Available for 8-hour weekday shifts (daytime).
