We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee daily operations at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the contracting and construction industry, with proven experience in managing engineers, site activities, and administrative teams.

Requirements

  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
  • Lead and manage site engineers, ensuring smooth workflow and problem resolution.
  • Oversee administrative staff, including accounting, procurement, and site support personnel.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare reports on project status, financials, and workforce performance.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Optimize resource allocation, ensuring cost efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to enhance team skills.
  • Oversee subcontractor work, ensuring compliance with contract terms and project specifications.
  • Implement quality control measures and conduct site inspections to maintain high construction standards.
  • Handle site-related administrative tasks, including payroll approvals and workforce scheduling.
  • Resolve any on-site conflicts or operational challenges that may arise.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in site management within the contracting or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience handling engineers, administrative staff, and site workers.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective coordination with stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen to oversee budgeting, cost control, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
