We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor with strong storytelling instincts, sharp creative judgment, and the technical ability to execute across long-form and short-form formats. This role is built for someone who can own edits end to end, elevate raw footage into compelling narratives, and adapt content for multiple platforms without losing quality or intent.

You’ll work on a mix of narrative-driven YouTube videos, short-form social edits, and repurposed content that spans education, entertainment, and brand storytelling. If you care deeply about pacing, structure, and viewer experience, this role will suit you well.

Why You’ll Want to Join

  • You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)
  • Up to 14 days of Paid Time Off annually (starting Day 1)
  • Observance of Holidays based on your location
  • 100% remote setup so you can work wherever you feel most productive
  • Join a creative team where your work is visible, valued, and shared
  • Opportunity to edit across multiple formats, platforms, and content verticals

What You’ll Work On

Long-Form and Narrative Editing

  • Edit long-form content such as YouTube videos, interviews, and mini-documentaries
  • Structure footage to support clear narrative arcs and engaging pacing
  • Incorporate b-roll, text overlays, transitions, and audio enhancements to strengthen storytelling
  • Collaborate with writers, producers, or clients to align on creative direction

Short-Form Social Content

  • Edit short-form videos for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
  • Repurpose long-form content into concise, high-impact clips
  • Add captions, jump cuts, sound effects, and music to increase retention and engagement

Workflow and Execution

  • Manage editing timelines, versions, and project files with consistency
  • Take ownership of edits from rough cut through final delivery
  • Respond to feedback efficiently while maintaining creative integrity

What You Bring

  • 3 to 5+ years of professional video editing experience across brand, agency, or freelance work
  • Strong command of tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
  • Clear understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and audience retention
  • Ability to work from rough scripts or raw footage and make confident creative decisions
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple projects at once
  • Openness to feedback and fast iteration cycles

Nice to Have

  • Experience with motion graphics using After Effects, Illustrator, or similar tools
  • Background editing branded content, educational videos, or creator-led media

How to Apply

Please include:

  1. Your updated resume
  2. A 1 to 2 minute Loom video introducing yourself and describing your editing strengths
  3. A portfolio or showreel that includes:
    • At least two examples of long-form work such as YouTube videos, interviews, or explainers
    • At least two examples of short-form content such as Reels, TikToks, or Shorts
    • Optional: motion graphics or branded content samples

Only candidates who submit both a Loom video and a portfolio will be considered.

If you know how to tell a story in ten minutes or ten seconds, take ownership of your craft, and care about delivering edits that actually hold attention, this role gives you the space to do meaningful creative work at a high standard.
