- Provide advanced (Tier 3) support for Microsoft technologies: Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM, SQL Server, and Hyper-V.
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure for multiple clients.
- Lead and execute infrastructure projects, including migrations, patching, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and availability using tools such as SCOM and Azure Monitor.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell and SCCM task sequences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues quickly and effectively.
- Participate in technical consultations, client meetings, and project planning sessions.
- Document configurations, procedures, and project outcomes.
- Mentor junior engineers and support internal knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with the department lead (Senior Technical Engineer) to deliver high-quality support services.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure support or systems engineering.
- Experience working in a vendor support or managed service provider (MSP) environment is a plus.
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (VMs, ASR, Defender, identity, and networking).
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2012–2022) and Active Directory (GPOs, DNS, Sites & Services).
- Strong hands-on experience with SCCM (deployment, patching, compliance).
- Solid understanding of SCOM (monitoring, alert tuning, custom dashboards).
- Experience with SQL Server administration (installation, tuning, backup/restore).
- Hyper-V expertise (VM creation, replication, clustering).
- PowerShell scripting for automation and task optimization.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
- MCSA / MCSE
