We’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our team. You’ll play a key role in shaping our backend architecture, building scalable APIs, and integrating with AI/LLM pipelines. If you want to see your work directly impact users, this is the place.
What You’ll Work On
- Design, build, and scale backend services using modern Python (async/await, FastAPI)
- Own API development end-to-end: routing, validation, error handling, performance, security
- Develop real-time, event-driven systems and streaming pipelines (Kafka or equivalent)
- Model and evolve data schemas for relational and document databases
- Implement secure authentication and authorization flows
- Deploy and manage services in cloud environments with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes, AWS)
- Apply clean, maintainable patterns (Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design)
- Ship features that integrate with AI/LLM-based agentic workflows
- Build observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards)
- Participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and uphold engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly to ensure reliability
Requirements
- 5+ years professional backend experience with Python
- Strong track record building secure, high-performance APIs
- Hands-on experience with async frameworks (FastAPI, asyncio, etc.)
- Solid understanding of event-driven/distributed systems and inter-service communication
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling
- Experience with cloud-native deployments and containerization
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
- Familiarity with observability tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong testing discipline and ability to deliver reliable, maintainable systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with LLM/agent-based systems and prompt engineering
- Background with Kafka or other streaming/messaging platforms
- Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and security standards
