Müller's Solutions is actively looking for a Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Brussels, Belgium. This on-site role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of cybersecurity and a passion for advancing security practices across the organization. As the SME, you will provide strategic advice, support security initiatives, and lead risk assessments to ensure our systems and data remain secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Firewall Management: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Palo Alto Prisma Access, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Routing Expertise: Strong knowledge of BGP routing on Palo Alto platforms.
- Platform Administration: Proficient in tools such as Algosec FireFlow, Log Analyzer, and AppViz for security operations, analysis, and platform management.
- Policy Optimization: Enhance network security policies and streamline incident response processes.
- Utilize your expertise to guide the organization in securing its information and technology assets.
- Perform security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks, developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance existing security protocols and safeguards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, standards, and practices aligned with industry regulations.
- Facilitate training sessions to improve staff awareness of security threats and best practices.
- Research new security technologies, trends, and threats, implementing best practices to strengthen our defenses.
- Act as a key liaison with internal departments and external stakeholders on security matters.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity and information security.
- Proven experience as a Security Subject Matter Expert or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance.
- Experience with security assessments, audits, and incident response.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of risk management principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred.
