Egypt Education Platform is pleased to announce an opening for a Secondary Science Teacher for the Academic Year 2026-2027 at GEMS - TBS (The British School El-Rehab). We are seeking a dedicated and innovative educator who is passionate about teaching science and committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans for secondary science subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and encourage student participation.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and a love for science.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the science curriculum and participate in school events that promote scientific inquiry.
- Stay current with developments in science education and integrate new findings and techniques into classroom instruction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
- Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school.
- Strong knowledge of the British secondary science curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for science education and motivating students.
- Commitment to professional development and a collaborative teaching environment.
