Main Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons for secondary school students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Encourage critical thinking and effective communication skills through discussions and assignments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects that enhance learning.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
- Integrate diverse texts and resources to enrich the curriculum and expose students to various literary genres.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Strong understanding of English literature and language teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
