Role Overview
The Client is looking for a highly motivated and commercially minded SDR / BDM to join their professional legal services team. This role will focus on supporting business growth by proactively engaging with prospective clients and generating new opportunities through a combination of strategic outreach and relationship building. The successful candidate will contribute to the firm’s expansion by developing meaningful connections with decision-makers, managing the sales process efficiently, and driving measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting using multiple channels, including phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn, to generate high-quality leads.
- Schedule and book qualified meetings with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organisations.
- Engage professionally and confidently with potential clients, presenting the firm in a polished and credible manner.
- Assess and qualify prospects carefully based on their suitability, potential need, and alignment with the firm’s services.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and activities within the CRM, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Work towards achieving and consistently exceeding agreed activity levels, pipeline targets, and revenue objectives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sales-focused role such as SDR, BDM, or business development within a professional environment.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with a soft or neutral accent and a highly professional telephone manner.
- Confident in communicating with senior stakeholders, building trust, and presenting value propositions clearly.
- Comfortable working UK hours while being based remotely in South Africa, maintaining productivity and responsiveness.
