Mission:
As a Junior Sales Executive, your mission will be to support sales growth and business development activities across the group’s integrated maritime services. You will work closely with senior sales colleagues while gradually developing your own client base, learning how to identify opportunities, approach prospects, and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
You will be encouraged to stay focused and proactive, understanding that not every opportunity leads to a deal and that persistence is key to success in maritime sales.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting sales initiatives across ship repair, port agency, and marine supply services.
- Assisting in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Maintaining contact with shipowners, technical departments, superintendents, and ship management companies
- Preparing and presenting service proposals with guidance from senior team members
- Participating in client visits, networking activities, and industry events
- Coordinating with internal departments to support smooth service delivery
- Learning and tracking the maritime sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure
- Building market knowledge related to competitors, pricing trends, and client needs
- Reporting on sales performance, pipeline status and market insights to the Commercial Manager.
Requirements
Must Have
- up to 3 years of experience in the maritime sales sector.
- Basic understanding of how B2B sales cycles work.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Greece, when required.
Nice to Have
- Experience working for a shipyard agency or as a representative of foreign shipyards in Greece.
- Familiarity with port agency operations and marine supplies.
- Initial contacts within the Greek shipping ecosystem.
- Interest in developing into a senior sales or business development role.
