Job Description:
- Analyze existing and new business market opportunities including extensive marketing research and business development.
- Establish sales strategies in search of business opportunities and enhancement in assigned territory.
- Execute given marketing and sales direction to achieve sales objectives.
- Gather and feedbacks market and competitors information to Sales Manager and Business Development team.
- Sources for new customers to expand market base.
- Lead the RFQ team and prepare quotations for customers.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to customers
- Attends to product complaints and suggestions from customers.
- Continuous enhancing product / application / solution knowledge.
- Establish potential new clients, determine their Engineering Solution needs & convert these opportunities into sales.
- Maintain strong relationship with existing key accounts to ensure continuing contracts / services
- Achieve given sales target and goals as well as preparing and presenting reports and proposals, sales forecast and budget.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- Proven sales track record and a strategic thinker with the ability to penetrate new markets and develop new accounts.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to create engineering solutions for customers.
- Should be confident, independent, outgoing, self-driven, proactive, creative and willing to travel.
- Communicates in a targeted manner and takes the audience into account..
- Handles information appropriately and passes information in a timely manner to all concerned parties.
- Good presentation skills and team player.
