Our Client

Our client is a boutique interior design studio that transforms spaces into experiences. They work on both residential and commercial projects, bringing thoughtful design and creativity to every space. As they grow, they are looking for a Sales Designer who can combine a passion for design with strong client-facing and sales skills to help drive both beautiful interiors and business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • End-to-End Sales & Client Engagement: Lead client consultations from initial inquiry through project completion, guiding clients on design choices and materials while managing expectations.
  • Identify Opportunities & Drive Sales: Spot upselling opportunities, present design solutions confidently, and close design packages effectively.
  • Collaborate & Coordinate: Work closely with vendors, contractors, and colleagues to ensure projects run smoothly and meet client expectations.
  • Project Oversight: Support project budgeting and profitability, while ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong, tactful relationships with clients from all walks of life, helping them bring their vision to life even when their expectations are evolving.

Requirements

Who They're Looking For

  • Experience / Background:
    • Previous experience in sales, ideally with some exposure to creative or client-facing industries (interior design, fashion, retail, hospitality, etc.).
    • Interior design background is a plus but not mandatory — technical skills like AutoCAD or SketchUp can be learned.
    • Fluency in English and Chinese
  • Skills & Mindset:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Creative mindset with an ability to understand and translate client needs.
    • Comfortable engaging with diverse clients and managing expectations tactfully.
  • Personality:
    • Confident, proactive, and driven to build relationships and close deals.
    • Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools or techniques.

Nice to Have

  • Portfolio of past design or creative work.
  • Understanding of project budgeting and profitability.
