The Role: Remote App Testing Coordinator

As a Remote App Testing Coordinator, you will join a distributed team of professionals who handle app testing tasks for our growing client base. This role was specifically designed to be accessible—we know that many talented people are locked out of traditional employment due to location, childcare, or other life circumstances. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Download, install, and test assigned mobile applications across specified device types.
  • Test apps across different network conditions (WiFi, 4G, 5G) as instructed.
  • Rate app features on usability, design clarity, and overall satisfaction.
  • Provide comparison feedback between the current and previous app versions when applicable.
  • Maintain confidentiality of pre-release app builds and features as required by NDAs.
  • Complete onboarding training modules before beginning your first paid test session.
  • Complete assigned test cycles within stated deadlines for each project.
  • Attempt to replicate reported bugs from other testers to confirm reproducibility.

Requirements

  • Reliable internet connection for downloading apps and submitting reports.
  • Must be 18 years or older and a resident of the United States.
  • Ability to follow test instructions precisely and complete tasks within provided deadlines.
  • Clear written communication skills to document bug reports and feedback accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail — ability to notice subtle UI issues, slow load times, or broken flows.
  • Comfortable with basic tech tasks: installing apps, taking screenshots, filling out forms.
