Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Registered Sonographer (Ultrasound) for a top healthcare client in Roanoke, VA.

The Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across multiple modalities, ensuring accuracy, compassion, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasounds to evaluate normal and abnormal structures of the body.
- Assess patients before, during, and after imaging procedures to ensure safety and quality outcomes.
- Operate specialized imaging equipment including CR, DR, and PACS systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the training and development of students and newly hired staff.
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for patients and their families.
Requirements
Education
- Graduate of an approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- Previous ultrasound experience preferred; OR and/or Pediatric experience a plus.
Certifications/Licenses
- ARRT registry or ARDMS certification required in at least one specialty (OB/Gyn, Abdomen, or Neurosonography).
- CPR certification required.

- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to assist across modalities when needed.
