Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN license in the state of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
