Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Shift: Night Shift (3x12-Hour, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday – Sunday)
Start Date: February 11, 2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Work in a STEMI and Stroke Certified Facility
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, arterial lines, ventilated patients, and procedural sedation
- Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, and administer IV vasopressors
- Utilize EPIC documentation system
- Work every other weekend
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years in ER (First-time travelers accepted with 3-5 years of experience)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, MAB, NIHSS, PALS
Skills: Pediatric ER, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP, ABG interpretation
License: Active CA RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
Travelers: First-time travelers accepted
COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions allowed)
References: 1 required (within the last 2 years)
Benefits
- $63.00/hr
- Overtime: After 12 regular hours in a day OR 60 regular hours in a week
- Holiday Pay: Paid for major holidays worked (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
