 About the role 

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and execution of airport infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with the airport’s strategic objectives and operational needs.  This role is critical in delivering complex capital works safely and efficiently while maintaining the continuity of airport operations.  This role is an internal Secondment opportunity for 14months working closely with the DP Buildings team.

Some of your key responsibilities will be: 

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership for holistic project or assigned project element performance.
  • Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government bodies, contractors, and airport services, to align project objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project status to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Understands the full scope of the project or assigned project element including broader dependencies and ensures that the projects take account of airport operational requirements.
  • Actively manages interfaces and promotes best for business solutions even if these may not be to the immediate advantage of the project.
  • Ensures that dashboards and progress reports for project or assigned project element is accurate, on time and complete.
  • Provides input to papers and presentations where requested.
  • Escalates risk and opportunity to the Senior Project Manager where necessary.

What you’ll bring to the role

To ensure your success in this role, you will need: 

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related discipline.

·       8years + experience in project management, particularly in large and complex infrastructure projects.

·       Strong leadership qualities with a proven track record of managing diverse teams and stakeholders.

·       In-depth knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMBOK).

·       Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to solve problems proactively.

·       Superior verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective stakeholder management.

·       Experience with budget planning, financial tracking, and resource allocation.

·       Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are highly preferable.
