  • Assist in the preparation and submission of technical documents required for DO, ROW, and authority approvals.
  • Coordinate with local councils, utility companies, land authorities, and other government agencies to track and follow up on application progress.
  • Support land and site assessments, due diligence, and feasibility studies (technical, grid, environmental).
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, BD, legal, finance) to consolidate input and align project development milestones.
  • Maintain up‐to‐date documentation and trackers to monitor submission timelines, approval status, and project progress.
  • Support the Project Development Lead in stakeholder meetings, client engagements, and site visits.
  • Assist in tender and EPCC preparation activities, including scope definition, cost input, and document collation.

Requirements

  • Detail‐oriented, well‐organized, and able to handle multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive team player with a positive, solution‐driven mindset.
  • Passion for renewable energy and interest in project development lifecycle from early stage to financial close.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project development, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, or utilities
  • Experience in housing/township development, or other greenfield projects is a strong advantage
  • Proven track record in managing land acquisition, permitting, and stakeholder engagement processes
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory and permitting landscape for infrastructure or energy projects in Malaysia (or applicable country)
