Job Title: Production Assistant

Job Summary
The Production Assistant will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations to support the company’s mission of delivering premium natural health products. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and co-packers to maintain material availability, executing production runs based on demand forecasts, and tracking financial activities related to inventory and production.
Key Responsibilities
Production Execution
- Determine the quantity of raw materials needed for upcoming production runs based on stock levels, orders, and demand forecasts.
- Execute production runs to ensure timely availability of finished products.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials.
Purchase Order Management & Supplier Coordination
- Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for raw materials.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and co-packers to ensure material availability, timely delivery, and smooth production flow.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Develop and maintain SOPs for production and inventory processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Process & Cost Optimization
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs.
Financial Tracking
- Track invoices and ensure timely processing of all inventory and production-related financial transactions.
Compliance & Regulatory Support
- Support compliance initiatives and contribute to maintaining adherence to relevant regulations and internal standards.
Additional Support
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by management to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in production coordination, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory management — preferably in the health, wellness, or consumer goods industry.
- Familiarity with working with suppliers, manufacturers, and co-packers is highly preferred.
