GEMS- TBS (The British School El-Rehab) is excited to announce an opening for a Primary Teacher for Key Stage 1 (KS1) for the Academic Year 2026-2027. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who is passionate about providing high-quality education to young learners and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that engage and inspire KS1 students, following the British Curriculum.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that fosters the emotional and academic growth of all children.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly, providing feedback that promotes improvement.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Participate in curriculum development and contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and community events.
- Contribute to team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and maintain a safe classroom environment.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience teaching in a primary setting, specifically within KS1.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to creating a positive learning environment and fostering student engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
