Duties and Key Responsibilities

PREPARATION
• Set up documentation and tasks in line with company and departmental best practices.
• Communicate effectively between post-production staff and other departments.
• Respond to or escalate issues to senior staff promptly in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify potential workload or traffic issues and propose solutions.
• Flag when additional resources are required to meet project demands.
• Prepare and manage workflows for assigned projects in line with best practices.
• Ensure key stakeholders and vendors are briefed with accurate project details.

COORDINATION
• Schedule and book resources using department tools.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure smooth execution of all assigned projects.
• Take ownership of deliverables and ensure timely delivery of final files to clients.
• Remain adaptable and resourceful in response to shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Be available on-site as required.
• Ensure QA is achieved across all post-production projects, maintaining the highest standards.
• Apply effective project management and foster strong communication between post-production and other departments.
• Liaise with clients and production teams to advise on best practices for post-production deliverables.

TRACKING
• Track project progress to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables meet quality standards.
• Archive completed projects in accordance with department protocols.

DEVELOPMENT
• Identify when a project is at risk of exceeding its agreed scope and notify relevant stakeholders proactively.
• Provide constructive feedback to the support team to improve development in the post-production team.
• Evaluate and help implement new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance post-production services.
• Collaborate with senior staff to streamline workflows and promote best practices across the post-production pipeline.

Requirements

Knowledge

• Solid understanding of post-production workflows, including working with dialogue and video assets.
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Pro Tools, Reaper, Audition, and iZotope RX.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, and Word.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets and project management software to track progress and resources.
• Awareness of best practices in scheduling, resource allocation, and QA within post-production.
Strong interest in audio technology and a passion for video games and interactive media.


Experience

2 to 4 years of experience in a commercial audio post-production environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and large volumes of files across various languages and formats.
• Hands-on experience scheduling and coordinating resources in a fast-paced production setting.
• Proven ability to track project progress, manage deliverables, and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and liaising with clients or external vendors.
• Comfortable mentoring junior staff and contributing to team development.
