For a leading dry bulk shipping company (based in Voula).
You will play a critical role in the management of vessel operations in port. This position is vital for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo, while maintaining compliance with maritime regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee vessel operations in port, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Coordinate with terminal operators, stevedores, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vessels while in port, addressing any issues that may arise during operations.
- Conduct pre-loading and post-discharge inspections to ensure cargo integrity and adherence to standards.
- Prepare and submit accurate reports on port operations, incidents, and compliance issues.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff and crew members regarding port operations and safety procedures.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills related to port operations.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience as Captain or Chief Officer On Board, preferably dry bulk
- Experience in Ops department of a shipping company ashore, preferably dry bulk
- In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations and cargo handling procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in the use of maritime software and general office applications.
