As a Plant Operator in the Water Utilities sector, you will be instrumental in managing water treatment processes and ensuring the delivery of high-quality water to the community.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate water treatment plants, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of plant equipment
- Adjust operational procedures to optimize water treatment efficiency
- Respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions, implementing corrective measures as needed
- Document plant operations, maintenance activities, and water quality tests
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and enhance operational efficiency
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or degree is preferred
- Experience in water treatment processes, plant operations & Water Utility Maintenance
- Strong understanding of water utility regulations and environmental compliance
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, as necessary
