Introduction:

Job Bridge Global is excited to announce a unique opportunity for experienced Pipefitters to work in the UK from January to May 2025. This is a perfect chance to expand your experience while contributing to major projects in the Oil and Gas industry.

Summary of Industry:

The UK Oil and Gas industry operates under the guidelines set forth by the NJC (National Joint Council), which oversees various agreements, including the NAECI (National Agreement for the Engineering Construction Industry). This agreement defines working conditions and pay standards, commonly referred to as the "Blue Book rates."

The Industry:

Pipefitting work on diverse engineering construction projects, repair, and maintenance activities across the UK.

The Employer:

Our client operates within the Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Defence, Hydrogen, and Carbon Capture sectors. As part of their team, you will be critical in installing and maintaining piping systems for various industrial applications, contributing to both the stability and efficiency of essential processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Install, repair, and maintain piping systems and fittings according to specifications and industry standards.
  • Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of piping systems to ensure functionality.
  • Prepare reports on work performed and materials used.
  • Pass a trade test
  • Clean COC

Requirements

  • Trade certification or equivalent qualification in Pipefitting or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial environment.
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting piping and installation drawings.
  • In-depth knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, and systems.
  • Ability to operate required tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to procedures.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol tests as well as trade assessments.
