Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to individuals seeking guidance in various aspects of their lives.
- Share personal experiences and insights to inspire and motivate mentees in achieving their goals.
- Develop individualized action plans in collaboration with mentees, setting achievable milestones.
- Facilitate workshops and group sessions to encourage community building and sharing of experiences.
- Listen actively to mentees’ concerns and provide constructive feedback to help them overcome challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of mentoring sessions and track progress against goals and milestones.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for mentees.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mentorship, coaching, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
- Empathetic and supportive attitude, with a passion for helping others grow.
- Ability to develop individualized action plans tailored to the unique needs of mentees.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple mentee relationships simultaneously.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- A background in social work, education, psychology, or a related field is advantageous.
