Position Overview:
The PCU/Tele Registered Nurse at Premium Health Staffing will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Telemetry settings. This role requires a keen understanding of patient telemetry monitoring and the ability to deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs, ensuring timely interventions as needed.
- Administer medications, IVs, and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and update care plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Utilize electronic health records for accurate documentation of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of California.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU, Telemetry, or similar nursing environment.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-pressure healthcare setting.
Benefits
