We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations. This role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing, while continuously improving payroll processes and supporting business decision-making through data insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Payroll Processing
    Administer the full payroll cycle for Singapore employees, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with MOM, CPF, and IRAS regulations.
  • Statutory Compliance & Reporting
    Ensure timely submission of statutory filings such as CPF, IR8A, IR21, NS claims, and other payroll-related government submissions.
  • Process Improvement & Automation
    Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline payroll operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Data Validation & Reconciliation
    Validate timesheets, claims, and payroll inputs; reconcile payroll reports and ensure accurate monthly payroll provisions for Finance.
  • Benefits & Commission Oversight
    Ensure that employee benefits, sales commissions, and reimbursements comply with local tax regulations and company policies.
  • Payroll Analytics & Reporting
    Generate and maintain payroll dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools to support business insights and decision-making.
  • Employee Support
    Respond to payroll-related queries and provide guidance to employees on payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping
    Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper documentation for audits and internal controls.
  • Ad Hoc Duties
    Support Finance and HR teams with payroll-related projects and tasks as assigned.
  • Review and validate payroll inputs provided by the external payroll vendor for Philippines employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Support invoice validation and reconciliation related to payroll and employee-related expenses.

Requirements

  • Diploma or relevant certification in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Accounting.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on payroll experience in Singapore.

·       Working knowledge of Philippines payroll regulations and statutory requirements is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore payroll legislation, CPF, IRAS, and MOM regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with payroll software such as Sage EasyPay and Sage 300 accounting systems are preferred but not a must.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Team player with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
