Role: Oracle Database Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Oracle database systems, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases and related software.
- Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning strategies to improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular backups, restore data, and implement disaster recovery plans to protect against data loss.
- Implement security measures to safeguard databases from unauthorized access and potential threats.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and resolve database-related issues.
- Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.
- Experience with database backup and recovery procedures, including RMAN.
- Knowledge of Oracle security features and best practices for data protection.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
