We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead freight forwarding operations at our Charlotte branch. This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role managing air, ocean, import/export, and domestic freight.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily freight operations and team performance
- Ensure compliance with TSA, FMC, and U.S. Customs regulations
- Monitor KPIs, service levels, and cost control
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to drive efficiencies
- Oversee P&L and process improvements
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in freight forwarding, with 2+ years in operations leadership
- Knowledge of international/domestic logistics
- Experience with CargoWise, AS400, SAP, or similar systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
