The Offshore HSE Engineer plays a critical role in promoting health, safety, and environmental standards within offshore operations in Saudi Arabia. This position demands a proactive approach to identify potential hazards, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a culture of safety among all personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures tailored specifically for offshore operations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead HSE training sessions to educate offshore crew on safety practices and emergency response protocols.
• Assess risks associated with offshore activities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into operational planning.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Act as a liaison between the offshore site and management regarding safety issues and improvements.
Strategic Contributions:
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HSE management system based on industry best practices and lessons learned.
• Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging the reporting of hazards and unsafe practices.
• Provide support during audits and inspections by regulatory agencies.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Basic Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Advanced Qualification:
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or similar HSE certification.
Minimum Experience:
• At least 7 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with a focus on offshore operations.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to the oil and gas industry.
• Proven track record in conducting safety audits, training, and incident investigations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Arabic and English.
