Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) – MD/DO

Position Summary
The Obstetrician/Gynecologist provides comprehensive medical and surgical care related to women’s reproductive health. This physician manages obstetric care throughout pregnancy and delivery, provides gynecologic care across the lifespan, and delivers patient-centered care in outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management
* Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions and perform preventive women’s health services
* Perform gynecologic and obstetric surgical procedures, including cesarean sections and minimally invasive surgeries
* Conduct routine exams, screenings, and family planning services
* Manage acute and chronic conditions related to women’s reproductive health
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, anesthesia, pediatrics, and maternal-fetal medicine
* Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, contraception, and preventive care
* Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
* Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and continuing medical education activities

Qualifications

* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
* Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
* Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
* Unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in the practicing state
* Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills

Work Environment

* Outpatient clinics, hospital inpatient units, and surgical settings
* Includes on-call responsibilities, nights, weekends, and deliveries
