Mercier Consultancy is seeking a dedicated Nordic Speaking Customer Service Representative for our Client's Hotel Reservations & Hospitality Department. In this critical entry level role, you will provide exceptional support to our Nordic-speaking customers, assisting them with hotel bookings, inquiries, and ensuring an outstanding hospitality experience.
Your fluency in one of the Nordic languages—Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish—will be essential as you engage with clients, helping them find the perfect accommodations and promptly addressing any concerns they may have. Your expertise and customer-centric approach will be key in creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service in a Nordic language via phone, email, and chat concerning hotel reservations and hospitality services
- Assist clients with inquiries about room availability, rates, and amenities
- Troubleshoot issues related to bookings and guest experiences real-time
- Document customer interactions accurately in our CRM system
- Collaborate with hotel partners to ensure a seamless reservation process
- Collect and relay feedback from guests to enhance our service offerings
- Stay informed on hospitality trends and promotions to provide customers with the best recommendations
Requirements
- Fluency in a Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish) and English, with excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience in customer service, particularly in hospitality or travel, is preferred
- Able to manage multiple inquiries and prioritize effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Passion for travel and hospitality, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with customer support software and CRM systems is advantageous
