Responsibilities:

● Identify, assess, prioritise and report risks across the organisation, including operational, financial, regulatory, strategic, and reputational risks.
● Develop a software tool/program to improve the user risk management experience.
● Automate KRI reporting with technology/code.
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure risk management is integrated into business processes.
● Conduct regular risk assessments and controls testing to evaluate the organisation’s resilience.
● Conduct due diligence assessments and ongoing performance monitoring for outsourced functions and third-party providers.
● Monitor emerging risks and industry trends, providing proactive recommendations to mitigate potential impacts.
● Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans to enhance organisational resilience.
● Evaluate third-party vendors and outsourcing arrangements for risk exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
● Facilitate audit requests and perform periodic gap analysis.
● Foster a risk-aware culture by providing training and awareness programs to employees

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field (Requirements) preferred. · Software engineering experience, ideally in Python.
• Ability to convince people to provide the items/work required.
• Good command of verbal, written and presentation skills and confidence in speaking up.
• Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and manage unexpected situations.
• Disciplined with planning and meeting deadlines.
• Personality that reflects enthusiasm, willingness to work and collaborate with others, energetic and enthusiastic.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
