Hire Resolve is assisting healthcare organisations in hiring experienced healthcare professionals for a range of mid–senior level opportunities across acute, outpatient, community, rehabilitation, and specialist care environments. This is a multi-role opportunity covering several clinical functions, including senior nursing practice, allied health delivery, specialist patient management, and clinical/team leadership.
These roles offer a clear pathway toward senior clinician, clinical lead, and service leadership positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care aligned with scope of practice, clinical guidelines, and facility protocols
- Provide clinical leadership within a ward, theatre, clinic, community team, or therapy service, supporting high standards of care delivery
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement care plans, deliver interventions, and evaluate outcomes for complex patient needs
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to optimise care coordination, escalation, discharge planning, and continuity of care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, handovers, and reporting in line with organisational standards and legal requirements
- Uphold infection prevention and control (IPC), medication safety (where applicable), and clinical risk management practices
- Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits, incident reporting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support compliance with relevant South African healthcare and workplace standards, including OHSA requirements where applicable
- Supervise, mentor, and support development of junior clinicians and students; contribute to skills transfer and competency development
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives that enhance patient experience, safety, and clinical outcomes
Requirements
- Recognised professional qualification aligned to discipline (e.g., Nursing qualification; Allied Health degree/diploma; Pharmacy qualification where applicable)
- Current registration with the relevant South African professional council (role dependent), such as:
- SANC (South African Nursing Council)
- HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa)
- SAPC (South African Pharmacy Council)
- Typically 5–10+ years post-qualification clinical experience, including exposure to complex casework and demonstrated clinical judgement
- Strong understanding of patient safety, IPC standards, and clinical governance in regulated healthcare environments
- Working knowledge of healthcare documentation processes and clinical record systems (system experience varies by employer)
- Strong communication skills and professional bedside manner, with the ability to engage patients, families, and multidisciplinary stakeholders
- English proficiency required (spoken and written); additional South African languages are advantageous depending on patient population and setting
