MEP Engineer

Ella Resorts is a unique collection of luxury eco-chic resorts in the wider Mediterranean region, with a portfolio consisting of 5 seaside lifestyle resorts in Rhodes, Corfu and Crete. Each property assimilates and is designed to highlight the unique characteristics of its host location within a carefully selected setting rich in Greek history, culture, and stunning landscapes. 

As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Engineer to strengthen our Technical Department, working on the delivery of high-end resort developments across various Greek islands.

Position Summary

This role offers the opportunity to be involved in all technical aspects of resort development, from early design stages through construction and commissioning. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between engineering consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders, ensuring the integrity, quality, and performance of all MEP systems. The role requires travel to construction sites as needed.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Oversee and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs
• Evaluate and review technical documents, drawings, and specifications
• Support construction supervision and ensure works meet contractual and regulatory standards
• Monitor site progress and provide on-site technical support as needed
• Engage with authorities to support permitting and compliance processes
• Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and developers throughout the lifecycle of each project

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience (preferably in hospitality or complex developments)
• Familiarity with Greek building codes, energy regulations, and permitting workflows
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM software (e.g., Revit), and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple interfaces
• Fluent in Greek and English
• Flexible and willing to travel regularly to island-based sites
