Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive math lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
- Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and participate in professional development.
- Engage in school activities and community outreach programs as a representative of the mathematics department.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in mathematics, preferably at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary teaching methodologies and assessment techniques.
- Experience with international curricula (e.g., IB, IGCSE, A Level) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching mathematics to students of all levels.
