The Event Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role within the events marketing section, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of various marketing and PR initiatives. This role combines business marketing acumen with keen attention to detail to drive engagement and enhance brand visibility across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

Digital Campaigns:

  • Manage and execute digital campaigns including paid search, display and social media ads.
  • Ensure proper briefing and alignment with the marketing plan.
  • Approve marketing assets and understand analytics, providing weekly performance updates.

Event Owner:

  • Oversee the entire event marketing process, from initial planning to post-event activities.
    Ensure ongoing communication and engagement with target audiences throughout the year. 

Media Outreach:

  • Identify and liaises with suitable media outlets for press releases, social media, email and digital marketing publication considering geographical relevance and budget constraints.

Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing management team to devise comprehensive strategies tailored to company events, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Email Marketing Execution:

  • Oversee the full email-marketing cycle by setting the strategy, guiding campaign planning, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Work closely with the email-marketing specialist, providing direction and support while they handle day-to-day execution.​

Influencer Engagement:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential influencers within relevant industries, fostering partnerships to amplify brand reach and credibility.


Social Media Management: 

  • Coordinate with the social media agency, ensuring alignment with the marketing plan.
  • Approve monthly social media plans and ensure timely delivery of designs and copies.
  • Monitor and ensure all social media posts go live as per the schedule.


Content Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams to draft, proofread and edit social media copy, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines before publication.

Digital Sponsorship Packages Coordination: 

  • Ensure that the digital sponsorship packages are delivered successfully and according to the plan.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder from a relevant sector (Marketing, PR, Business Administration) will be considered as advantage.

Required Qualifications & Skills 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar marketing leadership role.
  • B2B/B2C Experience: Experience in managing both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) advertising campaigns, with a demonstrated ability to tailor strategies to different target audiences.
  • Fintech Industry Knowledge: Beneficial to have knowledge of the fintech industry and established contacts within the sector, allowing for more effective engagement with clients and understanding of their needs.
  • Industry Trends Awareness: Demonstrated interest in industry trends and a passion for staying updated on developments in the fintech sector, enabling the ability to anticipate client needs and propose innovative advertising solutions.
  • Advertising Expertise: Excellent understanding of advertising methods and techniques, with the ability to develop creative and impactful campaign strategies that resonate with target audiences.
  • Relationship and Organizational Skills: Possesses strong relationship-building skills, coupled with high-level organizational abilities to manage client accounts effectively, meet deadlines, and exceed expectations.
  • Ability to Handle Pressure: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering results under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office suite, web analytics tools,
  •  and Google AdWords, to analyse campaign performance and optimize advertising strategies.
  • CRM and CMS Familiarity: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management System (CMS) software, enabling efficient management of client interactions and campaign assets.
  • Digital Marketing: Understanding digital marketing will be considered a benefit since there are many touchpoints with this aspect.
